Jan. 28, 2026 - Loneliness vs Being Alone
Dear Diary, I took the opportunity today, to go for a long walk alone, unplugged. This doesn't happen nearly as much as it used to. I got to thinking about "Loneliness vs Being Alone". I think it's common for people to assume those that live alone, feel lonely. Jan. 19th, 2026 - How to End "Addiction Stops".
For the longest time I struggled with "Addiction Stops". It wasn't my fault. I had to stop for gas. I had to stop at the drug store. I ran out of time for a real lunch. There were so many convenient, delicious options to choose from. I didn't get caught up in all that though, I usually went directly to my favorite items, made the purchase and went on my way. Jan. 15, 2026 - Why Would You Order That!?
I'm at a work luncheon. The restaurant is nice, the food looks amazing! Colleagues are friendly but, most are new acquaintances. I'm a little nervous but, enjoying myself nonetheless. I've ordered something on the healthier side and I'm proud I made a good choice. There was much to choose from on the menu but, I'm looking forward to my entree. When the food is brought out it becomes very noticeable that I chose a dish quite different from the others at my table. I'm accustomed to this...
